Musical Accompanists Register

The NFSA engages musical accompanists to support a wide range of events and activities. These may range from live performance at our silent film screenings through to performance at corporate functions.

We invite soloists and ensembles with relevant skills, musical experience and qualities to submit an Expression of Interest to our Musical Accompanists Register. Your details will be placed on the Register for when musical performance opportunities arise.

We seek professional accompanists with artistic versatility and outstanding proficiency in one or more instruments. They should have formal music education and/or proven experience in a variety of music styles and settings relevant to the sometimes highly specialised fields of live music performance involved in NFSA public programs.

About the register

To place yourself or your group on the NFSA Musical Accompanists Register, please provide:

  • A completed Musical Accompanist Expression of Interest Form which includes a statement outlining your musical skills and performance experience, and references
  • Your Curriculum Vitae.

When opportunities to perform at the NFSA arise, the selection process will be based upon suitability to, and availability for, the specific performance. A practical assessment of your skills may be required. Performer rates are based on negotiations between the performer and the NFSA, based on relevant skills and experience.

Your details on the register will remain confidential. In order to keep the register current, please advise us if your contact details change or you wish to be removed.
