Black Screen connects culture, stories and language with community through screen.
The Black Screen collection includes over 40 short films and documentaries created by renowned filmmakers.
Each film is provided on a loan basis to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and communities for private screenings and community celebrations free of charge.

If you would like to host your own screening and would like more information, have a yarn with the Indigenous Connections staff at blackscreen@nfsa.gov.au.
Note: to be eligible for the program you must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and use the material for private community screenings. Users are limited to six titles per order.
For any requests to access titles from the Black Screen program outside of the loan agreement terms and conditions, users are required to contact the film's rightsholder directly.
