Shows the work of the Melbourne Motor Police Patrol. Opens with a pan shot of a number of men in plain clothes, presumably detectives, outside a police station and sitting in stationary cars. Shows a staged police car chase and the arrest of two men followed by shots of detectives removing stolen goods, weapons and contraband from a car. A motorcade of uniformed police riding motorcycles with sidecars and shots of policemen on parade. Concludes with shots of a traffic policeman at work.
