This is an excerpt from an oral history interview with Murray Burns, the keyboard player for New Zealand pop-rock band Mi-Sex. They discuss the writing of the hit single 'Computer Games', released in 1979, which Burns co-wrote with bandmates Steve Gilpin and Kevin Stanton.

At the time, domestic gaming consoles were just taking off and home computers had yet to become ubiquitous in the home or in our lives.

Debbie Kruger interviewed Murray Burns for the NFSA Oral History program in 2010.
